Nickelodeon Submission Completed
****************************
As I continue my search to find a home for Friedrich and Loofy, this evening I submitted Truffle Trouble to Nickelodeon's 60 Second Shorts program.

The following is a Short Treatment for the show as a whole:

High up in the snow capped Alps of Bavaria, hidden among craggy rocks lies a secluded log cabin and a gleaming high-tech factory overlooking majestic and treacherous terrain.  At first glance, this appears to be quite an idyllic setting where our hero Friedrich Von Klutzenheimer (emphasis on klutz) who lives with his trusty friend and business partner a goat named Loofy.  Together they make exquisite chocolate truffles known and enjoyed worldwide.

Friedrich is not your average rosy-cheeked lederhosen wearing mountain hermit.  When he’s not tripping over his own two feet or accidentally creating avalanches he’s in his factory creating the most delicious chocolate truffles you have ever tasted from his mother’s secret recipe.  Quite by accident they became known worldwide and now he’s in way over his feathered capped hat.  Lucky for him, with his lack of business sense and adolescent nature he is fortunate to have Loofy as a business partner.  Loofy thrives on structure and has a definite skill in running a business.  By the way, he can talk…and he does.

Their days are packed with adventure, from out of control factory machinery, worldwide business trips, televised show downs with other chocolatiers, dancing chicken employees, villains of all shapes and sizes and “Choc-toberfest”.

"Truffle Trouble" contains themes of loyalty friendship and responsibility.  Friedrich and Loofy are honest, hardworking and use their success to help others.  It is truly a treat to behold!

I would also like to wish best of luck to friends and fellow contenders!  -S/

Loofy in 3D
Here's what Loofy might look like in 3D! Baaah!
Best Friends

Better than any watch dog, Friedrich has a trusty business partner and best friend…a goat name Loofy.
Friedrich Von Klutzenheimer (Emphasis on the KLUTZ)
Friedrich is more than your average rosy cheeked, lederhosen wearing mountain hermit…A LOT MORE.  In fact, he’s a Millionaire!  When this he’s not tripping over his own two feet or accidentally creating avalanches, Friedrich manages a multi-million dollar chocolate franchise.  One of his favorite pastimes is yodeling!
It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

High up in the snow capped Alps of Bavaria, is where Friedrich and Loofy call home.

"Oopsie!"
I felt like sketching a little bit tonight and came up with this.  Sometimes Friedrich just can't help himself to a little snack....or 3...The "SECRET RECIPE" in their chocolate truffles make them deliciously irresistible.  It's a good thing Goats don't eat chocolates!

Soaring High Above the Competition!
Friedrich and Loofy are best friends and true companions. Though they have very different distinct personalities, somehow they were meant to be together.  Friedrich is a foot-loose fancy free goofy yodeling klutz with a child-like heart, while Loofy is a clever OCD "Napoleon Complexed" little goat who needs to have control of any situation.  They greatly enjoy each others company, and love to end the day with a warm cup of cocoa by a warm fireplace in their cabin.
Modest Millionaires
It's not easy being overnight millionaires and world known celebrities for Friedrich and Loofy.  As well off as they are, they chose to keep life simple and live in their log cabin that overlooks the giant chocolate factory.  Friedrich and Loofy have to work hard to keep their bird brain Chicken employees in line who tend to have a little bit too much fun and are frequently distracted from their duties with dance parties and disco balls.  Unfortunately part of being owners, Friedrich and Loofy have to deal with every occurances such as theft, labor strikes, injuries and all sorts of mishaps chickens can get into.  Sometimes Friedrich is a little "too nice" so he is lucky to have his pal Loofy to keep the chickens in line.  Friedrich favorite task of the day is the Quality Check, where he must taste the chocolate and make sure the batch is up to par.  Loofy enjoys organization and efficiency...sometimes a little bit "too much". Overall the Klutzenheimer Chocolate Factory is the happiest place on earth, and it is hard not to smile and have one's stomach growl as it emanates the sweet smell of their chocolate across the Alpine terrain.
The Mountain Witch (Confessions of a "Choco-holic")

On a normal day, she is your average Granny-like Hermit who loves to have a good friend and goat over for tea....but, when the Mountain Witch smells chocolate in the air, she turns from Jekyll to Hyde in an instant.  All it takes is one taste to send her into a chocolate rampage.  When she loses control...things aren't pretty.  Her eyes turn blood red and her voice changes to a deep low octave.  Friedrich and Loofy are her only ally in understanding her chocolate addiction and go to great lengths to prevent her from having "episodes" or relapses.  They both know that she will stop at nothing to get chocolate, even if it means using her powerful magic.
